Jeremy York studied Photojournalism at the renowned S.I. Newhouse School for Public Communications at Syracuse University with a double major in Anthropology. This combination of disciplines makes him remarkably well suited to ethnographically document various cultures, practices, and peoples with his lens. He has worked at the studio of famous fashion photographer Fadil Barisha and is currently a Freelance Photojournalist living in New York City. Among his many projects he is the staff photographer at Wicked Willy's, a bar/club/lounge in the West Village at 149 Bleaker St. Besides photography he has many other passions which include; music, travel and literature. He has recently written a Science Fiction novel set in Japan, a country he has lived and studied in and is seeking its publication. The novel is called "The State of the Art."
